Rates & Fees
2026 Rates Effective January 1st, 2026 (Subject to change by Commissioners)
At the November 6, 2025 meeting, the District’s Board of Commissioners approved a rate adjustment effective January 1, 2026. This update includes:
- A 12.5% increase to the basic rate for all customer classes
- An additional planned increase to the basic rate for commercial and irrigation accounts
- An increase in the consumption rate for the Residential Mini Minimum Plan to $3.00 per unit
These changes to commercial, irrigation and residential mini minimum rates are part of a multi-year rate transition that will gradually phase out the mini minimum rate class and align commercial and irrigation rates with their impact on the District.
Tiered Rate Structure
North Perry Water has moved to a tiered rate structure for most all user groups, where the cost of water increases with the amount of water used.
Tiers 1 & 2
The Basic Rate, together with Tiers 1 and 2, are meant to provide surety to water system operations while ensuring reasonable water usage remains affordable.
Tiers 3 & 4
Tiers 3 and 4 are structured to encourage conservation and recoup additional capital improvement funds from high-water users.
